ASOCIACIÓN CASA JAVIER
Opportunities that Change Lives
Asociación Casa Javier, our ‘feet on the ground’ in Lima, Peru, manages the three homes supported by the Lammermeier Foundation.
ACJ provides opportunities for young people who live without parental care:
empowering their talent
deepening their values, and
developing a sensitivity to the service of others;
so that they become independent people and leaders in their community.
This model is unique in Peru:
Surrounding kids and youth with caring in a family-style environment. Retaining connections with their families of origin. Providing not only excellent education, but also personal and emotional supports. Forming the children and youth in Jesuit, Christian values. Making an impact that lasts a lifetime. These are some of the ways that our unique model truly makes a difference in each life that we encounter.
I experienced how a stable setting can have a very positive effect.

While run separately, PLF and ACJ share values and a vision to help children reach their full potential. The organizations collaborate to ensure that funding is available to support the needs of the children and that the work truly does make a difference in their lives.
With the collaboration and support of PLF and ACJ, the residents of each of the houses are able to reach their full potential – not only now, but well into the future.
