Jesús Salinas
(16 years old) has been in the program for two years and does reasonably well. He lived in the Casa Javier for one year and switched to the Casa Ignacio last year to be with his blood brother, Ignacio. He was born in the mountain province of Apurimac. He came to Lima with his siblings when he was two years old after his father’s death and lived in the orphanage (10 years) until the end of 2008 when he came to us. He and Ignacio became acolytes in the local parish this past year. He loves soccer.
