(10 years old)came to the Casa Teresa just after the New Year in 2013, being the first resident of the Casa Teresa along with Ana Paula (who returned to her family). She was previously in a private home of family members south of Lima. Living with grandparents, it was recommended by one of the nuns working in the local parish, that she come to the Casa Teresa to give her a better home life and more educational opportunities. She studied hard and passed the entrance exam for a local parochial school, “Patrocinio de San José,” about four blocks from the house. She is outgoing and with a wonderful personality and eager to do things with Melina, the house mother.
