(18 years old) arrived in the Casa Javier in December, 2008. He is a native of a remote province of Ayacucho. His father passed way in 2004 and his mother was not capable of raising him and his older sister. His father’s sister, a St. Joseph of Cluny nun, arranged for him to come to Lima to live in an orphanage. He finished high school last December placing third in his class, and as a result, received a half scholarship for his final two years. He finished a three and a half year course in the English Language. He was our exchange student at St. Xavier HS in Cincinnati and our featured speaker in 2011 at the PLF Annual Dinner.
